Round 4 of the Winter/Spring Championship, we had a big turn
out of drivers, (49) making it a very busy nights racing.
Round 2 of the Winter/Spring Championship, we had the biggest
turn out of drivers, (55) since we moved to the larger hall.
Round 1 of the Winter/Spring Championship, a very large
turn-out of drivers, with A and B Finals for Mini's, GT12 and Trucks.
Practice Round, 35 Drivers some of which tried to kill race
control with there cars and trucks.
The best prize going to Billy for his high flying Touring Car :-)
Round 10 of the Autumn / Winter Championship, a good nights
racing with over 45 drivers attending.
Round 9 of the Autumn / Winter Championship, a good nights
racing with over 40 drivers attending.
Round 7 of the Autumn / Winter Championship, sorry about not
being there but I have been told that we now have a more up to date
laptop computer to carry out the race lap counting and it seems to be
working all OK.
Round 5 of the Autumn Championship and at the half way stage
of the Championship there is some good racing going on with not much in
the points at this time.
Round 2 of the
Autumn Championship and yet again a great turn out of Mini's with the
new MO-7 now being use by some of the top
Round 1 of the Autumn Championship, A great turn out of Mini
Drivers with two 8 car heats and finals.
Practice Round and Trophies.
Round 10 of the Summer Championship, so that's the Summer
The next meeting will be on the 11th August where we will be awarding
Trophies to the top 3 in every class of races.
Round 8 of the Summer Championship, only 2 more rounds to go !
Round 5 of the Summer Championship, a total of 27 drivers, a good
evenings racing for all and thanks yet again for all those how helped
set up and clear away the track.
Round 2 of the Summer Championship, a total of 43 drivers racing with A,
B and C Finals for the GT12 plus a fall heat and final for the Saloon
First round of the Summer Championship, a good evenings racing and I
hope all the drivers enjoyed the track layout (thanks to the guys who
set it up).
Practice Round before the start of the Summer Championship, we now have
extra rolls of carpet which means that the full floor space is used.
Round 10 of the Winter Championship, a good turn out of GT12 Drivers, so
we look forward to the next Championship to start after a practice round
at the next meeting.
Round 9 of the Winter Championship, It was nice to see Gary racing
his Mardave again and wining the GT12 B Final.
Round 8 of the Winter Championship, a total of 35 drivers, a problem
with the 1/10 Saloon drivers was on the staged start the first car away
was round the track before the last car left, race control tried to sort
this out but still had a problem.
I am sorry if race control was a bit short with the drivers but some
time things have no easy solution and because we are on a very tight
time we could not stop the meeting to sort this, but this will be looked
Round 7 of the Winter Championship, a total of 29 drivers, a good
turn out of GT12 making two full heats and finals, only three more
rounds of the winter championship left.
Round 6 of the Winter Championship, a total of 36 drivers, it was
great to see some top class 1/10th Touring Cars racing.
I would like to thank all the drivers for being tolerant with me and
the lack of PA Amp to announce the start and finish for the races.
Round 5 of the winter championship, a total of 23 drivers raced and
a couple raced two classes of car.
I have been asked by a member of the club if I could include a for sale
and wanted page so I have now put that in place.
At the end of the GT12 A Final one driver had a problem with his lap
times, this is now being looked into by the committee and he will be
advised of the outcome.
Round 4 of the Winter Championship, a total of 22 drivers raced.
The new rostrum built by Mike Highwood arrived and is now in use with
out any problems.
Due to a computer glitch some of the drivers showed as unknown on the
heat listings but I have sorted it out and entered drivers in the
correct order for the championship table.
Round 3 a total of 28 drivers, with A and B finals for the GT12 drivers,
as always the truck rounds and final was full of fun to watch and even
one driver fitted his body shell on back to front which looked if he run
the final going backwards.
Round 2 and a total of 22 drivers, the meeting run OK and the lap
counting computer behaved itself!
Round 1 of the winter championship, a total of 28 drivers, the meeting
went well, but the lap counting computer and PA amp had a lot of
problems, thanks to all those that helped me get it sorted out.
A practice meeting so not much to report.
Round 11 of the championship - That concludes the summer championship -
The Mini championship was won by Nick Day with 692 points, second place
was Jacques de Klerk with 578 points and in third place was Steve Jenner
with 498 points.
The GT12 championship was won by Mike Highwood with 689 points, second
place was Mark White with 677 points and in third place was John Bowen
only one point behind on 676 points.
Round 10 of the championship - New demanding track layout by Steve with
some tight hairpin bends which made for some interesting racing.
Round 9 of the championship - With the track layout thanks to Steve and
Gary made for some fast racing between drivers.
The Mini Final was very fast and furious with it's share of fun! with
the top 5 drivers all in the 14 second a lap bracket.
No surprise in the 1/10 Final with Tony doing 10 second laps time after
The GT12 Final had the top 3 drivers all on 12.5 second laps.
Last of all came the Truck Final with Steve doing 21 laps with an
average of just under 15 seconds, with the next 3 drivers all close
behind on 20 laps.
A great meeting with a bigger turn out of drivers young and old, all
classes had 3 rounds and finals.
With more guys turning up with trucks we run a full round of heats and
final for 1/10 4 wheel drive Trucks, which seem to handle well on the
larger track layout and was great fun for all.
Good meeting with no problems, a couple of guys turned up with 1/10 4
wheel drive trucks to race.
We run our first meeting in the new larger hall with a larger track
layout on the 1st July 2016.
It was great to see the 1/10 Saloon Cars back in action and with the
much longer main straight.
The Micro Buggy's also had a good time over the ramps.
All the other drivers enjoyed the well run meeting, once the PC got it's
self sorted out.
